Wonder why that beach patrol member chose to not file any info.
Don't know if it's fact or just a suggestion but someone posted to me that the beach patrol person thought she had gone off on a fling. I imagine that's not a rare occurence. People get to thinking, 'I'm already here. What's the rush in going home?' Or they get drunk & miss the plane, get shacked up... Less of an alarm in tourist areas & with people on vacation, I would think, than it usually is back home.

I missed BOR, but Clint Van Zandt was on MSNBC earlier. He's the former FBI profiler who has usually been pretty spot on in prior missing persons cases.
He said he doesn't believe for a minute she was kidnapped for white slavery etc. He said the three boys are the key to what happened. Aruba is about the size of DC and look how long it took them to find Chandra, a year! She is probably there somewhere and what happened to her was not good!!

It is indeed true: I'm back on an airplane. We are taking the show back "on the road" to Aruba (search). As you read this, I am headed south. Aruba is only a short distance from Venezuela so the flight is long (including a change of planes.)
Over the weekend there have been several developments and we have a number of interviews set up about these developments. We could do the interviews remotely from our studios in Washington, D.C. but it is also true that we can do a better job if we actually go to Aruba and do the interviews in person.
Prior to doing the interviews and what makes our work better when we go to a story is that we actually visit the various scenes about which we talk. We meet many people who we don't interview but who educate us better about the events thereby making our work better. Our interviews are thus more intimate with the facts of the case and we get you closer to the investigation. There is nothing like seeing it with your own eyes and if you can't be there to see it with your own eyes, the next best thing is for the anchor to do it and attempt to place you there.

Of topic..Bill O'Reilly just banned congressman Weldon from ever appearing on the factor again..since he didn't bother to call and cancel his guest appearance this evening.

No. A cyberspace meeting wouldn't work. : )
Believe it or not, Internet proscratination is a big problem w/grad students/professors. So much of our work is done online that it is easy to 'slip' and wind up on FR instead of that academic journal you logged on to read.
Plus, w/always on broadband, even if you aren't working online, that evil Internet is just a click away. There are whole threads on academic message boards devoted to how not to waste time online. I probably would have finished my dissertation proposal a month earlier if it hadn't been for FR!

This:
Sr. VDS is: 'not a judge', (we knew that), 'not an attorney' (what's up with that) and 'therefore not a high ranking official'. (still a dork whether high or low ranking)
has been known for a couple of weeks. In the Dutch law system, you do not have to be a lawyer in order to be a judge. You have to pass a test.

Wahhh!!! I'm sure he'll be all busted up over that! Bill O', the petty American as well as the ugly one.
It's not like Weldon would've gotten a word in edgewise, anyway. Bill could've put a cardboard cut out of Weldon in the guest chair, and just done a typical interview.

Good point. Yeah, he's gonna feel like a real jerk if Weldon was in an accident, or he had a horrible family emergency. Go figure??

Now you know that you are branded a coward if you do not accept an invitation to appear on The Fuctor.

By the way, congratulations for being Phinally Done . . . Fantastic accomplishment!

What you don't seem to understand is that the MSM saturates the TV with stories like this ALL THE TIME. (Elizabeth Smart, Michael Jackson, Chandra Levy, Scott Peterson, etc...) Your comments about the MSM and the problem you have with it is not for this type of thread, just because you "think" that the Natalee case is getting too much coverage or because you are tired of it. If you are tired of it, why in the world would you come to a Natalee Holloway Thread?
It is so obvious this thread is not about how much the MSM is covering the story on the networks. If you want to whine about the MSM, start your own vanity thread about how the MSM is in general, because the Natalee Holloway case is not getting anymore coverage that any of the others I mentioned above.
You are not commenting about how the MSM is getting the facts wrong about the case from time to time, you are whining on how you think the MSM is covering the case too much. It is also insulting to almost all of us that someone thinks they can come in here and tell "US" what we they think we should be debating or discussing. If you are sick of hearing (or reading) about Natalee Holloway, turn your TV off and hop on out of this thread.
I am done trying to get my point across to you. You may not be a FR troll in general, but you are presenting yourself as a Natalee Holloway Thread "troll". I know you are fairly new to FR, but these type of case threads have been going on for a very long time on FR as each case happens in time.
