I liked the plain speaking too. Was is Jug that said the slimeball remark? What else do we expect from a guy named Jug who has a brother named Jar. Gotta love him.
To: Howlin
do they think they can get away with this? they are getting closer everyday.

but with the power of Natalie's parents Fox news and the blogs it is harder to sweep under the rug."
Plus, the political overtones, I can't quite put my finger on. I think other people sense it, too.

Love their names, too. Says a bit about them.
I always figured I couldn't go too wrong with a dad named "Whip" and a mom called "Hank". Of course, in the South, no one would dare call her anything other than "Miz Hank".

Something tells me that Riehl gets some of his info the same way that we do. I posted that article that he has in his Aruba round up this morning here and on SM. He is as much dependent on us and SM for news as we are to him.

I totally agree. I have wanted to go to some other sites, but it is a headache to read or post anything. Mr. Robinson had done a superb job.

Per Fox News Paulus Van der Sloot ain't no stinking high official, he is not a judge, he is not an attorney, he ain't no stinking high official (my words).
For those of you that don't know already Steve Croes is to remain in jail for a few more days, according to Banderas reporter for Fox News he could also go to prison.

Jug and Jar. I just love their names.
To: Howlin
LOL.......does he think we won't find out about it if he offs himself? I can't imagine the terror in his mind if he has done what we think he has done.
To: Dante3
FoxNews noted at the top of the hour that Sr. VDS is: 'not a judge', (we knew that), 'not an attorney' (what's up with that) and 'therefore not a high ranking official'. (still a dork whether high or low ranking)
So is there new news here, that he is NOT an attorney? Then what's his role in the justice system if not an attorney...

Yes. It made sense to me after I discovered they were in similar lines of buisness.

I think I heard that he had gone to law school but he was just some kind of civil servant type guy. That's about it. He's more like a legal secretary.

JimRob does not have a problem with these types of threads. Your whining is not going to make these types of threads obsolete on FR. If you don't like them, slide on by and click on something that interests you more. Can you please show me where I said anything about having a problem with this thread or threads like it? I was interjecting an opinion on the topic of the Natalee Holloway case and coverage thereof.
