Don't feel bad.......I'm from Michigan, levin or stabenow would probably say the same thing.
I grew up in Il and left in 1972, but still have friends and relatives In the Chi area.
It always amazes me how faithful these folks to any of those who have a D after their names- even crooks like Otto Kerner, Paul Powell, and Dan Rostenkowski. (I know, I'm showing my age just a bit)
