Newt's for censure of Durbin - wants listeners to call their reps

I did call my Senators - YESTERDAY

I called my two Georgia REPUBLICAN Senators. I am still appalled that I had to call and complain about their silence. As of today, still no comment from my REPUBLICAN Senators.

I also called Senator McCain's office. I asked why McCain agreed with Durbin. His office said McCain did not agree with Durbin's statements, he has not made any statement. I told them that any Senator that was silent on this will be assumed in agreement. I asked his office how McCain could be considering a run for President if he can't even find it in him to defend our Military. click.

Just called Sen Kay Bailey's office and told the young man that if Sen Hutchinson is pondering a run for governor - she best come out censure on Durbin. Asked him what her position was on it and he said she has made a press statement asking for apology. Told him that wasn't good enough for Texas. That SHE needs to be the first one on the floor to call for it. He seemed to agree.....
