I'd like to hear the retired police officer's "personal thoughts."

Hearing the (possible) alibi of one of these guards, I told many around me that they would be freed within 2 or 3 days. This did not happen and I have my personal thoughts about this.

You know, speaking of polygraphs, didn't you think that LE would have searched the brothers' house yesterday? But they only searched Joran's. It occurred to me at the time that they seemed to believe Deepak's account of the night's events. I wondered then if Deepak or Sateesh or possibly both had been polygraphed.

Assuming Joran never called for assistance from his other buddies, then the body was disposed of in the vacinity of the Marriott/fishermens'huts.

I will tell him that I am 27 or so...(he seems to like older gals) - I am very streetwise even though I live in the country now. I grew up in a big city and was a street punk, I knew plenty of guys like Joran and his friends.

I still have my feelings that Natalee was sold. And Venezuela believes that they have a bone to pick with us.

I have the same worries. I know the "blame" for any crime is with the perps. But I still want to know:

Where were the chaperones?

If they were not there to watch over these kids, especially at night - why were they even along?

Who ever heard of letting a bunch of under 18-year-olds go off at 1:00 a.m. alone - to a bar? I am sure that is not normal at home. And those kids should have been instructed that they all go together and leave together. No one should have been allowed to leave with anyone from the island, whether known to them or not. There does not seem to have been sufficient "rules" laid down. Letting those kids go out unchaperoned was like putting them on a railroad track with the train coming. The train might do the damage, but the people responsible did not exercise good judgement. They were there to keep tabs on these teens - at all times. They were not there to give them freedoms that the kids do not even have at home (underage drinking, out at 1-2 a.m., running with "strangers," etc.)

It is a heartbreaking story and I would be disgusted if any of those chaperones even has the gall to show their face in that community. And I bet they got to go for free, or some such enticement.

not naughty yet - but will be if I think it can get some inside info from him about Joran's lifestyle.

I think I will tell him that Joran is cute, but that he much better looking and looks more like a man.

You might try telling him you don't think "those boys" would be even know how to hide Natalee if there had been an "accident." Explain that the ocean is too dangerous to use a boat at night and see if that brings a reaction. Don't come on to him too strong. Play a little dumb.

Not according to Natalee's mother.

According to an Aruba LE spokesperson that Dan Abrams interviewed a few minutes ago, the panties, condoms, and tape has nothing to do with the Natalee case.

THese kids and their parents had more than enough time to clean up their mess.

Where were the chaperones

Trip Organizer: 'Chaperones Should Not Be Blamed For Disappearance'

Jodi Bearman, who organized the trip for 136 Mountain Brook, Ala., high school graduates, spoke out in defense of the seven chaperones that went with the graduates on the trip to Aruba.

She said that they should not be blamed for Holloway’s disappearance.

"They (the students) sign a waiver, and it basically makes sure it's clear to them that they are responsible for themselves. Chaperones assist in emergencies, but by no means are liable if an accident should happen or anything like that," Bearman said.

According to Bearman, the students are expected to act as adults and the chaperones are not required to baby-sit the students.

“The chaperones intentionally go out at night, and try to go to the places and check on the kids, but by no means are there specific instructions to do so,” said Bearman.

Bearman said that going on this trip is an individual choice made by the students who want to celebrate graduating high school and that it is not a school-sponsored event. She also said this is the third year for this trip and that the last two years were a success.

Although the students are expected to be responsible for themselves, Bearman said she knew that this being their first venture out after high school, chaperones would be needed to supervise. However, she said they fulfilled their duties and that if anyone had seen Holloway get into a car, then the chaperone would have said something.

"Everyone was getting cabs and leaving, and it's actually a busy club. When you're looking to get your cab, you may or may not notice where the next person went," Bearman said. “I can assure you, if a chaperone saw her getting into a car, there is no way she would have gotten into the car."

Chaperones of the trip to Aruba spoke with Holloway’s parents Monday night via a conference call. Bearman said the reason for the call was to make it clear to the chaperones that the family did not hold them responsible for Holloway’s disappearance.

That is not the description of a chaperone. They were facilitators.
