There is a freeper who does not have a complete brain, hope I'm saying this right. The pic of his brain scan is here somewhere. Anyone recall who that is?
YES I am talking about ALL the Doctors that examined her. This clearly points out that she was not given the type of evaluation that was required to determine her state of mind. How could they possibly diagnosis anything without first diagnosing if she could see. This proves beyond any doubt that she was never given the proper treatment or was never seen by a qualified doctor.
One that Sen King refuses to answer even though, as his constituent, I've requested a specific answer in regard to his quote.
I don't want them telling my family how and when to end my life!
it was certainly the right thing for people who are like Terri."
"This proves beyond any doubt that she was never given the proper treatment or was never seen by a qualified doctor."
Or it proves you need to do a bit more research.
Most likely: none.
Okay, okay, which close relative have you pulled the tube on?
Tell me how could a doctor claim a woman is pvs and not take into consideration that she was blind? Do you not see any problem with that? Do you not see any problem with them using her lack of eye contact to come to the conclusions they came to when her eyes did not work? If that is not quackery I don't know what is? And your claiming that I need to do more research is just a cop out for your not answering the question I posed.
We had to look at George Felos' grotesquely evil face again yesterday and listen to that disgustingly evil voice. They (CNN) asked him if Michael Schiavo was owed an apology and you should have seen the smirk! If you want to know what satan himself looks like and sounds like, he's a dead ringer for George Felos.
As if being blind is another good reason to kill someone. I wonder how blind people feel about that.
We all feel exactly the same - following the autopsy - it doesn't amount a hill of beans one way or the other.
I just hate it that the kill-Terri crowd is out there spouting the same old garbage. It seems to be that they are protesting just a little too much, if you get my drift.
So she had HALF A BRAIN!!!!!!!! She never used the other half to do anything wrong to anyone. And they killed her . . . because they could. This is so scary!
Her heart was strong, all right, strong enough to get us all loving her. Terri was martyred.
If you do, then a vast percentage of people who die are 'killed.'
I get a cold shiver every time I see the pictures of that GOP killing field. Lord have mercy!
Terri was alive and healthy one day and thirteen days later she died. She died because nutrition and hydration were withdrawn. In other words, she was dehydrated and starved to death. Therefore, SHE WAS KILLED. Why is that so hard for you to grasp?
So, is anyone who can live indefinitely hooked up to a medical device 'healthy'?
Of course Terri was healthy - that's why they had to KILL her. Get it?
The official one page autopsy report, which is actually signed on that page is the one that lists the official cause of death.
It says:
"Cause of Death: Complications of Anoxic Encephalopathy. "
THIS is what counts. Do YOU think it's accurate?
"COMPLICATIONS" what does he mean complications? Dehydrating someone deliberately is NOT "complication" of a disease.
"even if that was what she wanted. "
There is your fallacy. There was NO CREDIBLE evidence that she did. MS suddenly "remembered" some seven years AFTER Terri ended up in this condition, that "she wouldn't want to live hooked up to tubes". You wouldn't convict a person of a crime on this much evidence, much less be put to death. Yet, that's what done to Terri.
You should read the autopsy, which RULED OUT bulemia.
Thanks evad for poiting me to search on "hypernatremic dehydration".
And for Smartaleck and flaglady: personal insult and quoting irrelevant material reflects badly on you, not me.
You only quoted what happend in initial dehydration, NOT what happens, when someone actually dies of it.
"When hypernatremic dehydration occurs, the brain shrinks. Tears of the communicating vessels and hemorrhage may occur. To compensate, the brain produces "idiogenic osmoles" (aspartate, glutamate, taurine) which raise the tonicity of the brain cells and limit shrinkage. "

"Acute hypernatremia often results in significant brain shrinkage, thus causing mechanical traction of cerebral vasculature."
