There's nothing more boring than a service at a liberal church. Give me hellfire and brimstone! Given the choices between not going to church at all or attending one of those, I'll sleep in on Sunday morning.

I go to a Southern Baptist church where
hellfire and damnation has been downgraded
to heckfire and darnation. And--you guessed--the
church has left an evangelistic mode and gone
to the so-called seeker mode, a la Pastor Rick
Warren.
It's not my purpose to attack pastor Rick on any kind
of personal level.
