44 inches for a 4 year old? That seems a little tall for 4, or am I still asleep.

No 4 year old should be in that sort of a linear propeltion (sp?)ride. The G's are pretty intense. Chalk this one up to the stupidity of the parents.

My 4 year old daughter is 39" and is in the 35% for her age. She's one of the shortest in her preschool class as well. I'd say 44" isn't that tall for a boy.
Very sad story though, no matter what really caused his death.

My 4-year old meets that height requirement. We would have ridden this ride on our Disney trip a month ago, but the line was out of hand. She did ride Splash Mountain, as well as the Dinosaur ride at the Animal Kingdom - same height requirement.

Well, if he was closer to 5 than 4, 44 inches isn't that big. My daughter is 4 1/2 and 42 1/2" tall.

My daughter just turned 5 2 weeks ago and she is 48" tall. She is excited about going to the roller coasters at six flags. (until she gets on them, I'm sure!)
