I was never sure the charges for molesting would stick, however. I am not sure wacko jacko did molest those boys. But, I believe he is a Voyeur and that is pretty serious and could have been more easily charged. There are many people with that perversion. They are too cowardly and too ego-centric to actually involve themselves in molesting, worried about getting caught, etc. Instead, however, they go far enough and like to show little boys pictures, talk about sex and "being a man, " having them in bed and close to them, making them dependent on them, etc. - it is a typical pattern. Then they just watch them get aroused or listen when they ask questions about sex or have sex talks. That's how they get their kicks. I believe that is Jacko's MO. The DA should have pressed the perversion of voyeurism....that could have (IMHO) been more believable and MJ wouldn't be out tonite.
What a sick world we live in. Thank goodness MJ will have one final judgement day and there won't be any high priced defense attorney or flock of fans at his side.
I think the wording of the charge gave the jury an out. It was that MJ provided alcohol in order to seduce the boy.
Prosecutors could not prove MJ did indeed seduce the child....though a couple of the earlier prosecution witnesses gave testimony to seeing incidents of molestation.
