Is Nancy Grance the new royalty of cable news?
Insiders are buzzing about her highest ratings to date. On Thursday, her 8PN Headline News show averged 877,000 total viewers and 330,000 in the 25-54 demographic.
Grace beat Lou Dobbs, Anderson Cooper, Paula Zahn, and she wasn't too far away from Larry King.
For the record, here are her ratings for the last week-- Monday: 642,000/Tuesday: 745,000/Wednesday: 779,000/Thursday: 877,000
For the week, Monday through Thursday, Grace average 761,000 total viewers, a 53% increase over her May 2005 average of 498,000 viewers.

We both have. She does take the side of the victim, but at times (and her record seems to bear this out) she isn't that picky about who the perp is--just get one, seems to be her motto.
>>Nancy Grace's fiance, Keith, was murdered many years ago (1982) 2 weeks before their wedding.
Before the Runaway Bride turned up with her faked story of abduction, Nancy reported on the story--interviewed Jennifer's dad, etc. Since her finance was killed shortly before the wedding was to take place, I could imagine her very much
sympathizing with all of those involved...who could only
hope that Wilbank's fate wasn't the same as that of Keith.
Isn't that the truth? Personally, I can't stand her smug sanctimony and have to blaze through the channels whenever I see her pompous mug.
Remember when someone called Gloria a "butch lawyeress?"
Ditto.
His name was Keith.
While attending college, he worked construction, to pay his was through.
One day he went to buy lunch for some of the other workers & himself.
On the way, he was robbed of (all) $35.00 he had on him.
The perpetrator was caught, tried & convicted and is still in prison.
Nancy attended the trial and got inspired w/how the law works and decided to go to law school.
Nancy was a prosecutor in Atlanta for 20 years. Out of 100 cases she was given, Nancy won all of them. Never lost a case.
Recently, Nancy showed several pictures of her & Keith together. I think it was on LKL the night she was the only guest and talked about her book, "Objection!"
(Nancy was never raped or direct victim of a a crime.)
Well, I can imagine something like that would inspire someone to fight back somehow.
Sounds like she was a pretty damn good prosecutor.
Are there photos of Nancy & Keith
in the book?
She has a morning radio program.
She's on Headline News at night. 5PM(live)-7PM(replay)-10PM(replay) PT.
Nancy is on the radio! Didn't know that..
Indeed!
She doesn't let defense attorneys get away w/ their cr@p on her programs.
She is a liberal, but thinks and speaks like a conservative.
I still can't figure out just HOW she is a "rat"! Doesn't fit.
I guess she still has her
radio show. It is or was
on K-NEW, broadcast out
of L.A. (or somewhere in
CA)
Also love that Southern "Macon, Georgia" charm. I like her *much* better than Greta...
(How'd I do, Miz?) LOL.
Loosing share?
Try the truth!
I've watched her on CTV during the Jackson deliberations, and she's a bit too sugary for me.
Generational thing.
Some of us got over that & switched, some haven't.
I love Nancy, if I can't watch the show live ( 8pm, 10pm, 1am EST) I record it.
She is brutal to people she doesn't like, can't stand criminals, pedophiles, and incompetence. She is all over Jackson and thinks that he is as guilty as sin.
I think her success is due to the fact that she's pretty, smart, no-nonsense, great sense of humor, good dresser, and see's things as the audience does. Nancy doesn't coddle anyone, friend.
