"...when Juan says 'everybody believes'..."
I guess you have also noticed that is how libs justify everything from abortion to confiscating our money. "Everyone believes.." means everyone THEY know.

How will the media react if Heritage foundation fund Ken Starr to continue probe on Clinton & Hillary's scandals? A great question!
The 9/11 panelists are lusting after the power they felt during the past few years, and now are becoming tools of the destructive left.

Blame America! America is Evil! America is Torturing prisoners! BLA BLA BLA... This Human Rights guy speaks softly but he carries a big stick to be used against the USA. Congressman Weldon, though sounding like a waiter at a fancy restaurant as he rattles off the cuisine the Gitmo prisoners are enjoying, threw that Rice Pillar in the pacifist libs face along with the facts that human rights watch is distorting. Since when is listening to a barking dog torture? (maybe when it's your neighbor's dog, but then it is still just an annoyance)

that reminds me of the story of one lib who knew noone who had voted for Nixon (I think that is the correct President - altho I am sure it would apply to any pubbie.)

What is Weldon's book?Timmy just held it up at an angle so I couln't get the title. Weldon sounds semi-hysterical during this discussion. Why do pols always think they have to personalize 9/ll. Okay, Weldon, so you know someone who was killed. Does that mean if you don't you have no interest in the issue?

"A lot of people in Britain put blackcurrent in beer or lager even Guinness never tasted it but it sound awful"
Have you ever tried Murphy's or Beamish? Your thoughts/comments on those? I like Guinness too, but I tend to favor Beamish and Murphy's, especially the latter.

"...I heard that Clarence Thomas is a Godfather to one of Juans children."
I've heard that His Honor has a wide variety of friends. That happens a lot out West. I do, too, but when we get to politics and philosophy no prisoners are taken.

Murphys is a great beer. Wish the beer stores were open....oh well. Guess I'll have to wait until noontime.

"It is almost that in some perverse way they want to see a draft"
Yes, the MSM is aching for a draft, and the sooner for them the better. They are wondering what's taking so long. It's very sad.

Timmy is pushing the idea of reinstituting the draft. IIRC Charlie Rangel authored a bill last year calling for a draft then voted against his own bill. I believe he has reintroduced it this year. Correct?

I was aware his son was there. It's the reason why I have more faith in what he says than most others.

I've heard that His Honor has a wide variety of friends. Judge Thomas gave one of the very best, Gentlemen start your engines, at a NASCAR race.
He is, of course, well liked by the NASCAR crowd, myself included.

"...reminds me of one lib who knew no one who had voted..."
Rush and Laura Ingraham both mentioned that they or friends of theirs had heard that remark made. Hell, I only know one person who voted for Kerry! (well, that's a bit of an exaggeration, but it makes the point)
