Per Fox News...
Is there any place near the Marriot that Snoot could have hid her body?
That mother that I was reposting from said that the others were out at the hotel pool until 5 a.m.
Wouldn't that have been the Holiday Inn where they stayed insted of the Marriot where Depak says he dropped Snoot and Natalee off at?
guest100159: well they couldn't have done all that. probably the 2 am drop off is completely not true
guest98928: I think they may have gone to the lighthouse but slipped up by giving a time to which they dropped her off that made it near impossible to get there and back by
I think what these two people are saying is that Snoot couldn't get to point A and back to point B in the time frame given.

Time for sleep. G'night

Also, FBI agents were asked to come to Aruba. A US Representative from AL made some pretty strong comments that one does not do under normal circumstances. Here are some interesting (disturbing) comments from U.S. Rep. Spencer Bachus, R-Vestavia Hills, U.S. Rep. Spencer Bachus, R-Vestavia Hills, said Saturday there were circumstances surrounding Holloways disappearance that warranted the FBI being heavily involved. He declined to give details. The circumstances were disturbing, said Bachus, who formally requested the FBIs involvement. I cant get into it, but its something the family is aware of. There was an immediate recognition that this was not simply a teen who wandered off.

Exactly, Divi.
There were 7 chaperones. The hotel complex was huge, not to mention snorkeling tours, etc.
My daughter has now told me that after other guests at the hotel complained about the kids, the chaperones had a meeting with them to discuss their behavior. One specific request was to keep their get-togethers in the main, public area of the hotel rather than being loud in their rooms, so as not to bother guests who might be trying to sleep, rest, etc.
At one meeting (the same?) with the kids during the trip, the chaperones addressed the problem with drug dealers and how to deal with the situation. This came after one chaperone (the same that stayed behind) had confronted one of the dealers that he'd seen harrassing the students. The confrontation turned threatening, and he confided he'd gotten awfully scared! But he stuck to it, trying to protect those kids.
My daughter said the same chaperone had stayed up just about all (maybe literally all) of the last two nights, trying to keep tabs on everyone. She said he was clearly exhausted when it came time to leave -- but then he didn't leave. He stayed behind for Natalee.
When my daughter and a friend took far too long to return to the hotel from snorkeling, she was blessed out royally by the chaperones. They were two kids out of around 150, but they'd kept tabs on when they should have been back.
I had heard and reported that there were chaperones in C&C's, but I cannot confirm that now.
A lady whom I've talked to was there at the same time. She complained about the kids' behavior (which has been confirmed as seriously obnoxious) and said she was concerned that she didn't see chaperones taking action. I am going to make an assumption that they put a priority on the kids who were off-property. My daughter, who's finally opening up to discussion, was horrified to learn of the criticisms I've been reading about the chaperones. She says this criticism is not at all warranted.
The general topic of chaperones' responsibilities and optimum number on a potential student trip and such is certainly open for debate. I think future trips will be better for it. But I feel these chaperones had their hearts in the right place and did the best they could for our children.
Seven chaperons for 150 kids? We had twelve on our senior trip to Florida for seven days and we had four chaperons. lol!

One travel agent told Caribbean Net News, "We in the United States are extremely concerned about the way this case is being handled in Aruba," going on to add, "I know for a fact that many Americans have already cancelled plans to visit Aruba. Their fear is that, if a crime should occur, the police will handle it in an inept and incompetent fashion, as many feel this case is being handled in such a manner,"

Details Of The Initial Investigation Into The Disappearance Of Natalee Holloway
Just went to scared monkeys.com and read Depak's alleged statement to the security guard while in jail, which says he and his brother "dropped off Joran and Natalee near the Marriott hotel", never returning to the Holiday Inn, after all. That they had "made up that story about returning her to the Inn.
Question: Whose vehicle were they in? I thought it was Joran's. If it was Joran's how in the world could it be that Depak and his brother were driving Joran and Natalee around and kept the vehicle after dropping them off somewhere? I must have missed something. Was it Depak's vehicle? If it was Joran's, then something is not right about the released guard's story that he got this admission from Depak while in jail.
?????
Mark to read later
Those number are more like it.
"Question: Whose vehicle were they in? I thought it was Joran's"
Most people thought that it was Joran's initially, but then reports began that it belonged to the older of the 2 brothers (Depak). This probably makes more sense, since the driving age on Aruba is 18. Not that it stops Joran from doing other things he's not supposed to do at his age.
Good, I am glad to hear this info. A message needs to be sent to (Aruba and the Dutch) they will all suffer the consequences of this botched charade of an investigation.
If blind justice for Natalee cannot be obtained by the (Aruban&Dutch Government) then we bring them to their knees economically.
Natalee deserves justice and we can seriously enact the scorched earth policy on Aruba's tourism industry. Americans need to remember this could have been their daughter too. NSNR
Ok...missed that. Hmmmmm. More questions than answers come from this. I can see that Depak would want to place Joran and Natalee together as he and bro drove away. Takes any suspicion off of them, if true. But why not tell that story in the first place, to the police? Why the phony Holiday Inn/security guard story? Why did they drop them at the Marriott? What time was it? On and on and on...
