So is South Dakota.
But it had 2 Democrat senators until last November.
Ford will win easily because he is a very conservative Dem.
I'll expect him to adorn the national ticket.....VP or POTUS...within the next 20 years.
That doesn't mean he will win though.
I'm backing Sen. George Allen for president in 2008.
He has Bush's homespun charm, is unbeatable in a good-sized southern state (Virginia) and has a gift Bush was born without.
He is an articulate man!!!!!
If Ford and Co can't keep Willie Herenton from winning elections in their personal feifdom, then how in God's name do you expect them to win Tennessee.
I suggest you review his votes from the ACU. Junior is very much a liberal 'Rat. His name is synomous with racism and corruption in Tennessee, and he most certainly will not win our fine state.
Ford has an ACU rating of 21 last year. The other Dems had 13, 42,43 and 56. So how is that Conservative?
See post #6. Sic 'em, Gail !
Ford is not conservative. I am in his distric so I know of what I speak. He may talk a good game but he is a LIBERAL from the FORD Crime family. The rest of the state hates the Fords with a passion. No way he wins. His uncle was just indicted for bribery (John Ford the TN state senator).
Only when he is running or sleeping.
Very conservative? He is quite liberal. If the GOP has his tirades on the floor of the House on tape where he's ranting and raving about tax cuts for the rich and other such nonsense - so much to the point he was reprimanded by the chair - they should make quick work of him.
I only know what little I have seen of Rep Ford, does NOT come across as VERY CONSERVATIVE.
Please enlighten me with his position on abortion, the Iraq War, Social Security, the Marriage Amendment, Abu Gharib and Immigration........thanks.
