Give it up, Robby, You are too old.
He will retire with grace rather than run and lose.
A Republican pickup here will offset a loss in Tennessee when Rep. Harold Ford wins Sen Frist's retired seat.
By placing the Rebel flag on Byrd's Klan Suit, you are making a false assumption, namely, that the Rebel Flag is racist, when everyone knows it is not racist.
I heard he thinks he "inherited" Sen. Obama from his Grandfather!
Why did you put the Rebel flag on sheets?
Hopefully, the old sot will hiccup in front of it, while it's lit.
There are two major reasons why we're seeing this second wave of Shelley-mania.
Story by Chris Stirewalt, W.Va. State Journal
State and national Republicans still are swooning at the thought of Congresswoman Shelley Moore Capito taking on Sen. Robert Byrd next year, even as the object of their desire perfects her demurrals.
Since it's already been shown in pretty convincing fashion that Capito could theoretically win, her fans now are looking to prove that it's a lock.
Every day there seems to be a new poll or piece of punditry that would have us believe Byrd and Capito are in a statistical dead heat. Not likely, but a tantalizing thought for those of us eager to elect someone who represents West Virginia's future rather than its past.
Capito is no more likely to be taken in by this second round of wooing than she was by the first that came earlier this year, but she must be enjoying all the attention.
If the polls are clear on one point, it's that since her political suitors started making advances, more West Virginians know her and like her than ever before.
There are two major reasons why we're seeing this second wave of Shelley-mania. ...
I hope she does get in there. She looks like she can kick his senile butt down the block, just for drill!
What I would like to see is K. Harris take the seat in Florida, have Steele win in Maryland, and Capito win in WVA.
Hey, I can dream!
Is she related to Gov Arch Moore? As I recall, he was quite popular with Mountaineers.
