fiscal conservative and social liberal

Such bull. Since liberalism is about taking from one and giving to another, you can't be both. You have to pick a side.

Okay, I'll buy that.
Burleigh and Carey are in the same class.

Yeah... that was pretty funny. Obviously not my brightest idea.

BTW, shoulda' wrote "denounce" rather than "renounce", as if the President was involved in the porn industry.

Because of the FCC's crackdown on inappropriate material on the airwaves?

I bet there are people who know you or me who could point out "sin" that we "habitually commit".....

posting on freerepublic when we would be better off to spend time working at something remotely productive?

You just misquoted scripture.

The tax collectors (Such as Matthew) and prostitutes did believe him (John), changed their minds repented, changed and believed John. The son Jesus spoke of did not.

30 Then the man went to the other and said the same thing. " 'I will, sir,' he answered. But he didn't go. 31 "Which of the two did his father's will?" "The first," they said. Jesus said to them, "I assure you: Tax collectors and prostitutes are entering the kingdom of God before you! 32 For John came to you in the way of righteousness, and you didn't believe him. Tax collectors and prostitutes did believe him, but you, when you saw it, didn't even change your minds then and believe him.

If this woman gave up her trade of deceiving others to commit sexual immorality she might be saved.

Other than that she is mocking GOD.

We all sin, but do we do it publicly while trying to
convince others to do the same.

One can repent for our acts but how do you fix the ones
you deceived into doing the same and fix their brokenness?

Yes, and I thought you did it.

I'm sorry. I found out later that it was a network flub.

What has Mary Carey done on the public airwaves that is pornographic?

WND certainly has seen fit to giving them the publicity that they sought. Running for the Gov. of California did more than this will, though.

Got her mentioned on the Tonight Show et al a lot.

"Surely not everyone can get in the door by making a monetary contribution."

Apparently they can. Some heads may roll (behind the scenes, of course) over this goof. I hope security is better at the actual event.

LOL. I didn't catch that! :)

I would rather they place Carey next to the First Lady. Maybe some of her class, charm and quiet dignity will rub off onto Carey.

You're the one who claimed it was unChristian, right? Burden on you to demonstrate that. But to answer your facetious question: Caring for the needy.

"I read the Bible and pray every night," Carey told WorldNetDaily in an exclusive interview.

I wonder what her reaction is to passages such as "there must not even be a hint of sexual immorality among you", etc...

Revelation 2:20
(Jesus)
But I have this against you: you tolerate the woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, and teaches and deceives My slaves to commit sexual immorality and to eat meat sacrificed to idols.

If that's a serious question I'd hate to see what you consider an question that isn't serious.

They are having to combat the reports that the only way to meet with Bush is to sign a form that you are a committed republican and would never speak badly of the President.
