We have the same situation. All of my husband's brothers and their wives are liberals. Family gatherings can be very tense; they're allowed to make snide political remarks but we aren't allowed to bring up any politics.

My beloved is going to blow one of these days, if I don't do it first.

My in-laws are all the same also. My husband agrees with me on politics, but he is more of a moderate, while I am a
conservative. His family is total Democrat, they think that Clinton hung the moon and Bush is going to steal their social security money!!!! Oh, and the draft is coming back and I don't seem to care that my three sons will be going to fight for oil!! Needless to say, we don't go visit them much.
