I assume you mean Tony Snow? The very one. I went back to the thread and pinged him to it. That was excellent work, btw (as usual).

Thanks.
Will now put all anti-Yankee remarks here on the back burner and concentrate on the real enemy...

YW. I think President Bush is trying the Senate approach to get a feel of where he stands with all his nominees and see which obstructionist he will have to get even with later. I liked the one about where most the base closing are? Massachusetts may become the American Refinery State real soon.

Hillary's thesis is open to the public. But you can't make copies. Freepers have been in the library to read it. Apparently, it's not all that impressive and that's the real story about it. From the world's most intelligent woman, 'ya know.

For the last week or so, I've appropriated one of JRB's quotes as my tagline, because it's so truthful... And it's the truth in all of her sayings that really disgruntles the Demo/Commies. So, how can we clone her?

And espacially the fact that she is an African-American, now that REALLY pisses them off!

Just listened to the exchange between Frist and Reid--
Frist mentioned getting JRB, Wm.Pryor, and the other nominations done this week, including Griffith for the DC Court of Appeals...
THEN, Reid mentioned a "problem", or something and MAYBE they would get to Griffith on MONDAY!!!
When it went back to Frist, he said that they would get the nominees done this week, and start on energy next week..then he brought up Bolton, almost like he was throwing HIS name out to counteract whatever Reid was referring to re: Griffith..
Does anyone know if there is a problem with Griffith that could cause a "showdown" or something?

Sounds like Frist is going to finally stand up and tell Reid how it's going to be. Reid always has an excuse why the Senate minority can't accomplish things.

Yeah, probably in the back room cooking some more backstabbing bipartisan contracts with those RINO's!!

Okay--pet peeve time.
Why do they even bother to start the Senate, if all they are gonna do is have hours and hours of quorum calls?

.......but some of the Reps, Allen and Inhofe most vocally, have said that they need to put up the nominees and especially one that could trigger the "const. option"...Just my humble opinion, but I think Frist is throwing up a smoke screen until Brown and Pryor are actually confirmed, then things will move rather quickly concerning other judges.
In other words, give the Democrats absolutely no reason to renege on the "agreement" and then hit 'em over the head with a rather large hammer and see how long the "agreement" really lasts.

I hope your scenario works out--
also, if the CBC DOES have a protest today and makes fools of themselves and the dems....I hope THAT also spurs Frist into doing just what you said...
