it is called exposure to alcohol when you can't handle it, esp at 18
you do stupid things, we've all done stupid things, most of us have been lucky we didn't get hurt or get into major trouble and didn't hurt anyone else in our stupidity
look at the Ecstasy all these kids are taking and you are more likely to give something "a try" on a vacation then perhaps at home
Aruba is hot, really hot, take some E, throw in alcohol and dancing, don't drink enough water - you have a recipe for a death
and yes, ye old slipping a drug in her drink, again if you aren't accustomed to bars etc you might know that you need to be vert careful, again you tend to let your guard down on vacation
when we were in Aruba, we had the deep sea fishing trip from hell, we had this stoned captain [most of us found out later, my sister ascertained this, she was likely smoking joints up with the captain] whilst the rest of us were puking, the waters were choppy that day and he purposely hit the waves to see how many of us he could make sick (some of us were already a little hung you know what I mean)
now my sister and I had done a fair bit of sailing and I am the one that usually has the life jacket on first but on vacation we hadn't even thought about life jackets
now this loser captain came way too close to an huge oil tanker in these choppy waters, my sister who was upstairs and I both had the same thought at the same time, this guy is too close to that tanker, we could get sucked in and crash into the hull, where the hell are the life jackets
of course joke was on this jerk, after four hours of hell, we stopped payment on the cheque, loser took a cheque for the trip, LOL.....so we got the last laugh
but both my sister and I looked at each other and couldn't believe we had been that slack.......
And he will take it out on the next Americans he catches ...
