not fair to be so critical of the Aruba Police yet, when you have one murder a year and usually between parties who know each other, you don't get a lot of practice doing homicide investigations nor do you have Gil Grissom on staff.......
Proactive is the key here, they are being reactive. This island has a very nice revenue from tourism and could have invested some in it's police department. Maybe this syllogism,"You Get What You Pay For." fits my theory on this high speed department. Train your officers for the worst case scenario, and hope it never happens.(Be Prepared). NSNR
SO little crime and yet Aruba has one of the biggest if not the biggest prison I have ever seen and I've seen them. It's humungous.
