Murder, homicide and kidnapping leading to homicide. Those are the exact words. Aruba law is not American law.

As I understand the terms, a homocide is the death of a person at the hands of another person. It is not necessarily murder though. It can be accidental. Once it is termed a murder, there is some element of malice, intent, or gross negligence. The laws of Aruba might be such that a determination has to be made that this is a death of someone at the hands of another, and it is of a criminal nature - consisting of murder. Just guessing though.

Yep, they get a stiffer sentence if convicted of both. I guess they will have to stay the eight days instead of three. :-)
