They should take this perp out for the good of the public. I would bet that the popularity of the law enforcement organizations (not there ever was any) has dropped considerably because of their lack of taking decisive action.

I can't even imagine how many police roadblocks they've set up along I-10 and some of the side streets just to keep I-10 wide open for this standoff.
