Not to rain on everyone's parade . . . but does it really matter who wins the honor to lose to Corzine in the general election?

I'm not cheering for Corzine by ANY means, but he's pretty popular, has good poll numbers, and could outspend all the GOP candidates if they all ran and combined their financial resources!

Whoever does ultimately emerge victorious from the primary needs the full support of the Republican Party machine, unlike what occurred in the last gubernatorial race.
