BRIDGETON -- Three strikes and you're out.

That might be the message city residents who have been involved in a hit-and-run accident, or have a loved one who has, send to their representatives in the Statehouse and the nation's capital if they don't heed City Council President John Ewing's third call for a summit to address the issue of unlicensed motorists driving uninsured, unregistered vehicles.

In NJ you also need to show proof of insurance to register a vehicle, but that doesn't seem to stop them. Some states are just more accomodating than others. The way things are going I don't see anything happening to stem the tide of this invasion. I don't think we will ever see any sort of wall or even comprehensive strategy to deport those caught for even minor offenses. They will simply pay the ticket/fine and are released.

Wait 'till they find out how lucrative and exciting the car-jacking market is.

Illegal aliensU.S. Citizens
without drivers' licenses
driving uninsured,
unregistered vehicles
while drunk,
then fleeing back across the borderstate lines to excape prosecution.

Would, at minimum:

  1. Have their butts tossed in the slammer.
  2. Their phony documents confiscated as evidence.
  3. Their car impounded.
  4. Serious charges pressed for DUI, driving without insurance, driving without a license, possession of counterfeit documents, deception of a law enforcement officer, etc.
  5. Extradition if they managed to flee and the cost thereof added to the fine.

Gee, I wonder if the ACLU would help such a citizen file a 14th amendment case on the grounds that he was being denied equal protection of the law by unfairly being singled out for unequal prosecution due to his national origin. < / sarcasm>

Absolutely right. You will be hunted down, sued into oblivion and forced into bankruptcy to pay your hospital bills, while our guests pay no taxes (except for sales and partial property through rent payments) are untraceable and generally have no obligation whatsoever to the community, neighbors or creditors. Come April 15 you will pay more of their bills too. Then when people try to do something about it they are labelled vigilantes. Our government just continues to force us to keep taking bite after bite of this big fat $hit sandwich.

Well there you have it. But, many jobs in the U.S. require a U.S drivers license. If illegals were stopped from getting those licenses.....guess who the employers would have to hire.

I believe it always falls back on the employers. STOP HIRING ILLEGALS.

HUMMMM maybe we should start a campaign that businesses must have a sign that (sort of like the health department one) certifies that all employees are legal/American.

Not only do they hit and run

They also hit and sue.

NJ led the nation with automobile scandals and fraudulent accidents where gangs of people, immigrants, would sue and sue and sue, many would be involved in over 25 accidents a year!

I was looking for a California list like this, but can't figure out how to work it. All I see is the site where you have to know a name and then enter it. Is there a page that has the names, etc without any individual search?

Thanks.
It's interesting that before Lockyer became AG, the AG site had most wanted's right out front--which was by far Hispanic. Lockyer not only makes it hard to find, but the only way I could figure how to get to a list, is by RACE. White, Hispanic, Black. Apparently, the pc way is to mix them up so Hispanics no longer show as the group most, most wanted...
