I couldn't tell from the article. Hopefully there will be some clarification about Mr. Kerry's original separation and discharge from the Navy.
There were suspicions, mine included, that something might have been less-than-honorable.
Ideally, we'll be able to get to the purple heart of the matter.

Whatever happened to the documents that Nicosia (IIRC) had obtained via FOIA - all 14 boxes of them? I remember some were "stolen" at just the right time. Seems like that guy needs to be paid a visit.

I was too lazy to register to read the story, otherwise I would have emailed Kranish and said what about the 100 documents the Navy said it couldn't release without Kerry's consent you got those too did you Mikey boy?

The author of the article, Michael Krannish, is a HUGE Kerry supporter. This was written to say "Nothing new here. Move along."
Someone at the Globe has the reigns pulled very tight and they will spin this forever. Sooner or later though, someone will expose it all for the right amount of $$ (probably coming from the Hillary 2008 crowd).
