I think the story on that asset is that there was a loan that Jackson's bank was sitting on.
During this trial the bank decided to turn the loan over to a hostile group who bought the bank's interest out.
So, now Jackson has to come up quick with his own group to buy out the hostile group.
The loans are near the 280 million range I guess, but the catalog is said to be valued as high as 2-4 billion now.
So, at the very least, I see Jackson getting lots more money out of that asset.
He could also retain it.
McCartney would also have to form some interested group, because though he is worth near 600 million himself, that is still not 2-4 billion.
We'll have to see how that all turns out.
