So if Specter gets off based on a drunkin drug blackout he should still be able to walk free amongst you and I?

They'll either find him guilty or not guilty, or there may be a hung jury.2 posted on 06/03/2005 3:28:19 PM EDT by scott7278 (Before I give you the benefit of my reply, I'd like to know what we're talking about.)

I think that he will be found Guilty and...... he will not be present during the reading of the verdict. Instead, he will be well on his way to some Country that will refuse to allow for his extradition.

Unless I didn't hear right, there is no court tomorrow. So unless they decide something today, this will spill over until next week.
Michael Jackson will not spend any serious time in prison is my prediction. He either will be acquitted, or commit suicide. No way does he do a strech in jail.
To: Howlin
Whichever way the verdict goes, Michael Jackson will have lost face.

Paula Abdul could play MJ - Fox News showed a clip of her this morning. In profile especially, that same skeletal, scary look is there.

I'm going to say he walks because the prosecution had Zero evidence. Zero? I realize you probably meant that as an exaggeration. I think the nature of these types cases is that there is scant physical evidence. Probably people in prison now having been convicted with no more evidence than this case. If the boy can describe the crank thats enough for me.
To: alisasny
If he's found innocent, yes.
If he's found guilty, no.
Isn't that how it works?

Deja vu all over again?

They'll either find him guilty or not guilty, or there may be a hung jury. Or guilty on some counts, not guilty on some counts.

He's still popular in S. America & Europe. He can make a very good living but will never regain his superstar status- quilty or not quilty.

What prosecutorial mistakes, Mr. Darrow? How about putting people on the stand who didn't testify the way the DA told the jury they would?
That's a damn good start.

There are ten counts against him. He will get convicted on some of them, guaranteed. Particularly on giving booze to minors.
To: Howlin
Honestly.... I'm surprised he hasn't committed suicide. If he's convicted, I'd predict he'll try, or he'll try to run.
I don't have any idea what's going to happen with this verdict, or what the truth is... I know he's a freak, I just don't know if he's a child molesting freak.
To: SmithL
That's what I'm thinking.
