Michael Jackson walked not because the jurors thought him not guilty; but because the lawyers froze these jurors up. By that I mean these jurors simply did not want to make the decision to convict him. They wanted anyone but themselves to do so; in case they were wrong. They shored this up by doing he said she said type of defense that worked. In others words, Michael appeared less guilty than the accusor. Probably less guilty by the way they laid it on about the mother, etc. Same thing in the Blake case. His lawyers made sure everyone knew over and over again what scum bags he associated with. That doesn't make the scum liars. Again, it gave the jury an excuse to not make the decision. Well guess what, Robert Blake was a scum bag just like the people he associated with.
Even though anyone with an ounce of common sense knows there is probably something wrong in our culture when a grown man sleeps with children. As we see Michael Jackson was the less guilty so he got off.
I will not watch this story any more as of NOW and I will not be in Free Republic or any other forum for awhile, either in order to stay as far away from our American Cultural Vomit which masquerades as "Justice", or to keep my own sanity. I feel your pain, AIT, and haven't been this down and discouraged in years (probably since O.J.) I'm MAD, damnit! After hearing some of the jurors, I'm mad as hell at the prosecutors for not "practicing" with Jackson's most hated witness, the alleged victim's mother. She's obviously unstable and only served to damage the entire case with her abnormal behavior. Why she wasn't 'handled' and more prepared is baffeling and is the sole reason M.J. got off, IMO.
I guarantee you, if asked, the jurors cannot say M.J. isn't a pedophile.
He wanted Michael Jackson to be acquited and this is--in a way a Victory for Whorealdo. He's been batting zero lately. Marsha Clark won't bow to him. She's great!

Yeah especially her parting comment at Geraldo. Everyone said the boy accuser had been programmed/coached by his mother (the jurors thought he had been coached, various news pundits said the same thing) but Marsha Clark ended the segment recalling the videotape interview the boy gave to the police. In it he ended the interview saying "please don't tell my mom." Marsha said that was very powerful. Too bad it didn't come in first before the boy testified on the stand.

The good thing is that the jury of public opinion has convicted him, just as they did OJ. I believe this.
The FBI probably told the Rivers to beat it after Whorealdo made a fool of himself by telling Natalee Holloway's mom that blood had been found in the vehicle even before Aruba LE had informed her.
That is why I say the media needs to just report the news, not interfer and try to solve the case.

It was because of past grievances....one to the tune of several million dollars in hush money....that gave credibility to the present charges.
