Once again, America will obsess in it's hopelessly venal and devoid CULTURAL VOMIT for the next one or two weeks -- to the inclusion of anything else--as it did 10 years ago in October--and despite more pressing things such as a possible nuclear war on the Korean Peninsula where thousands of our fellow Americans are stationed or terrorists just caught right in our very midst recently. Based on the 3 times I have been called (although never picked to serve during a trial), the vast majority of those that actually show up are not "the brightest bulbs in the box". I have been threatened by bosses to get out of Jury Duty or else (I did keep my job, tho, by informing them that they can not fire someone for doing their duty.)

Truth is, if I, or anyone here are accused of a crime, be afraid, very afraid. Those sitting in judgment of you may need help finding their own bathroom.

Why are they rubes? I agree with the verdict, and I'm hardly a rube.

This case has nothing to do with race, rubes, or celebrity IMO. It has to do with reasonable doubt caused by the shady past of the accuser's mother. The jury pretty much confirmed that.

I am truly surprised by the jury's decision to acquit MJ on ALL charges. Did his fame and $ have anything to do with it? I don't know. But, MJ is certainly in their debt for the decision that they reached.
