I think that's the more accurate construction. Wealth and fame have always equaled legal double-standards. Only when you are the subject of envy (Martha Stewart... who I think was guilty, BTW) will a jury convict. No one envies MJ his weirdness and his little boys...

We had a re-enactment of some bits of the court case - if the mother is anything like the re-enactor, no sane juror would have walked out without reasonable doubts without her motives.

That sounds to me like the jury is embarrassed and knows they bought into the celebrity cult.

I think that it's far more likely that politically ambitious prosecutor's will file weak cases against celebreties, because they like the spotlight. I think if this case had been presented against an ordinary individual who wasn't a celebrity the prosecution would have likely declined to file.
DA's reject stronger cases than this one all the time. You should spend sometime in a court room.

I still believe Jackson is a chronic gay pedophile with a tranny bent. I believe Jackson was himself a childhood victim of child molestation and abuse. Everyone knows his father Joe abused his family. Probably molested by pedophiles in the musice industry too.
