And, my son's AOL screen name has parental controls--he can't access Google from his screen name but he can access FR.

I know what you mean!
That is how my kids started out and they are allowed to access FR on their own,well that was they were allowed to do it on their own ,until this .....troll showed up and ruined it all! :(
