ARTICLE SNIPPET: "(CNSNews.com) - A memorial to people killed while trying to flee communism by escaping across the Berlin Wall will be destroyed unless the director can raise enough money by July 4 to buy the land from a bank.
The memorial, which stands at the former border crossing known as Checkpoint Charlie, opened last October. Since then, hundreds of thousands of people from around the world have visited the historic site."

"Second arrest for man in ricin case
He's accused again of having ingredient"
By TRACY JOHNSON
SEATTLE POST-INTELLIGENCER REPORTER
ARTICLE SNIPPET: "A man who avoided a prison sentence for making ricin earlier this year was arrested again this week, when he was caught a second time with the key ingredient for making the deadly toxin, federal authorities say.
Robert Alberg, who has been diagnosed with depression and a form of autism called Asperger's syndrome, had a packet of castor seeds in the Seattle group home where he's been living, Assistant U.S. Attorney Mike Lang said yesterday.
Alberg allegedly ordered them on the Internet, a violation of the five-year probation term he received in January. Lang said that although Alberg has admitted he was planning to use them to harm himself, it would have required making more of the highly dangerous toxin."
