That's why I've highlighted 8/11 on my personal calendar...
TruthUSA looks EXCELLENT! Lots of hard work and the results are impressive. Thanks Cindy - and by the way, you're absolutely 100% correct - WE WILL NEVER FORGET!
I know this is a bit off topic. I have been reading the posts of a scientist named Frank Condon who studies signals relating to earthquake prediction. He often puts out warnings. Many turn out to be nothing and some are hard to connect to earthquakes that happen in a ceartin way. Sometimes he may get some right. The odd thing is that I have never seen him put out as dire a warning as this.... So just in case it is real then people on the west coast should be prepaired. I normaly would not post earthquake stuff.

"Hello all:
We've just had a second warning for what is going on in the lithosphere. Four more infrasonic scalar harmonic pulsations were observed that appear to be related to a seismic swarm near Indio, CA and the Southern San Andreas Fault Zone, north of the Salton Sea region. It's not likely for there to be any further warnings as significant as this was. We've already had eight scalar pulses during the past 24 hours, with the four yesterday near to Wrightwood, CA. It's time for action this day, in South-Central, Southern, and Baja California. Are you prepared for an earthquake in the range of what geolgist's expect to occur once every 350 years? Possibly a M7.5 if it ruptures from the Salton Sea to Wrightwood, CA. It could be even larger in magnitude if it ruptures past the asperity, and all the way across the Mojave Segment to the Grapevine region and the Garlock Fault. We also have an over-stressed San Jacinto fault zone, which is attempting to keep it from happening. However, it too is giving symptoms of its own at the Anza Seismic Gap after a signficant change in crustal stress along the plate boundary near Yucaipa, CA. So, take all necessary precautions. Have plenty of water, and food which doesn't require refrigeration, if power isn't restored after the temblor. Think about your pets, too. Make sure you have enough water and food all your family members, and maybe it will be much less of a problem for you afterwards.
Frank Condon"

I sent the link to a geologist I know on another forum. I'm sure Godzilla could give some input on this as well.
Very strange that yesterday another warning was put out by Jack Cole. I tend to see him as little more hocus pocus, but what do I know. He is suposedly using a method that looks for "Main Signals" which if I understand it right...are electrical signals put out by quartz when it is crushed by earth preasures. His warning was kind of dire as well. It also seems to center more overseas. It probably all amounts to nothing. If this all turns out to be nothing then I will have a hard time taking any of it seriously again.

"Half of Dutch expect London-like attack"
Reuters ^ | 08 Jul 2005 17:19:17 GMT
Posted on 07/11/2005 1:03:43 AM PDT by John Filson
ARTICLE SNIPPET: "AMSTERDAM, July 8 (Reuters) - Nearly half the citizens in the Netherlands expect the country to fall victim to an attack like Thursday's bombings in London, according to a new poll.
The poll, conducted by TNS NIPO for RTL television, found 97 percent of the population thought more terror attacks were likely somewhere and half said the Netherlands would be the next target in Europe.
Nearly 90 percent believed an attack could not be prevented.
Anxiety in the Netherlands -- which last month ordered three radical imams to leave the country after its intelligence service said they represented a security threat -- is also higher now than after the 2004 Madrid bombings.
Fifty-one percent of respondents were rather concerned or extremely concerned over the likelihood of an attack and were growing more willing to give up certain freedoms if it would mean more security."

Detained U.S. Citizen Released
American Forces Press Service
WASHINGTON, July 10, 2005 Coalition forces released Cyrus Kar, an Iranian-born U.S. citizen today, Multinational Force Iraq officials announced.
Kar, his Iranian companion and their taxi driver were detained by the Iraqi Army near Balad, Iraq, on May 17 following a search of their taxi. In the vehicle were 35 washing-machine timers, a common component used for the construction of improvised explosive devices.
IEDs have become the insurgents' weapon of choice, and since January, IEDs have killed or wounded over 40 members of the coalition forces and over 40 Iraqis in the vicinity where Kar was detained, noted officials.
After being detained by the Iraqi Army, the three men were transferred to coalition forces.
Kar was detained as an imperative security threat to Iraq under the authority of the U.N. Security Council Resolution 1546. After his initial questioning, the military notified the FBI, who initiated an investigation to determine if Kar had engaged in terrorist activities and could be classified as an enemy combatant.
Based on the FBI investigation, the testimony of Kar and the witness he called, and other witness statements, a Detainee Status Board determined Kar was not an enemy combatant and recommended his release, which was approved.
"This case highlights the effectiveness of our detainee review process," said Brig. Gen. Don Alston, coalition forces spokesman. "We followed well-established procedures, and Mr. Kar has now been properly released."
Kar's cameraman was also released, while the driver of the taxi remains in coalition detention pending the results of investigations into his activities.
"This case has been resolved appropriately," said Alston. "We understand this has been difficult for Mr. Kar and his family, however, we owe the coalition forces, Iraqi security forces and Iraqi civilians a thorough investigation, especially when the circumstances relate to serious and potentially dangerous activity."
(Based on a Multinational Force Iraq release.)

"In cancer fight, a spice brings hope to the table"
Houston Chronicle ^ | July 11, 2005 | TODD ACKERMAN
Posted on 07/11/2005 1:19:41 AM PDT by Cincinatus' Wife
ARTICLE SNIPPET: "The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, the epitome of the conventional cancer establishment, is reporting promising test results on an unconventional weapon: a common spice used in Indian cooking.
In a host of studies, M.D. Anderson researchers are showing that curcumin, the pungent yellow spice in both turmeric and curry powders, has potent anti-cancer properties. They say it may prove effective for both prevention and treatment.
"Curcumin's promise is enormous," said Bharat B. Aggarwal, a professor of cancer medicine in M.D. Anderson's department of experimental therapeutics.
"It appears to inhibit multiple pathways by which cancer grows, and we know it's nontoxic."
Aggarwal added that "in a day when Vioxx and Bextra are off the table, curcumin may be one of the best new hopes on the table" a reference to popular painkillers (Cox-2 inhibitors) taken off the market after reports they increased the risk of heart disease. Cox-2 inhibitors were considered potential cancer prevention agents because they'd been shown to inhibit tumor growth.
The latest study on curcumin is available today on the journal Cancer's Web site."

"MS13's growing threat"
Sunday, July 10, 2005
ARTICLE SNIPPET: "WASHINGTON -- This is the time of the year that school principals meet to plan for the next school year. At one meeting in suburban New York, 360 principals, out of the 480 attending, agreed that the greatest threat confronting their schools and communities was the Mara Salvatrucha street gang, better known as "MS13," and, specifically, gang recruitment in their schools.
But the same is true nationwide.
When this column first highlighted MS13 a year ago, many were skeptical of the police estimates of 3,000 active gang members in the northern Virginia suburbs. Now, a half-dozen murders, scores of cuttings and unreported beatings later, it is believed that there are 6,000 members in the region jus south of D.C."
