"Tony Blair has said terrorists will not succeed in destroying "our values and our way of life" after blasts hit London's transport network."
Thank you nw.
Morning all, any confirmation of Al Qaeda on this?
I looked at the main thread but a lot of extraneous talking and no info that I could find quickly.
I'm concerned about London being the start. If you all remember the warnings from before.
There has to be video somewhere of who left these bombs since London has cameras everywhere.
Hi,
Haven't posted in a long time but I have been following the thread on and off. I had a bad feeling with the G8 being held in Scotland. Looks like "the other shoe has dropped" in London.
Yes.
Hi, WCG and all..
Also haven't checked in here for quite a while.
But I do remember the chatter from 2 years or so (?) back about "events beginning in London".
Sounds like Italy and Denmark are on high alert as well, per comments/rumors this AM.
Have to wonder if this is "it" for now, or if we're going to see strikes at other targets, including NYC, DC and other areas of Europe once their rush hours commence.
Prayers to all who are in those locations today. Stay safe!

LONDON
ARTICLE SNIPPET: "A previously unknown group, "Secret Group of al Qaeda's Jihad in Europe," claimed responsibility in the name of Al Qaeda for the blasts, according to the Italian news agency ANSA. The group claimed the attack in a Web site posting and warned Italy and Denmark to withdraw their troops from Iraq and Afghanistan, ANSA said.
The claim could not be verified and did not appear on any of the Web sites normally used by Al Qaeda."
SEE POST NO. 3224.
FYI - no change to the USA threat level. Remaining at yellow / elevated.
Looks that way. Sympathies from the U.S. on this sad day.
ORIGINAL THREAD REGARDING THE LONDON ATTACK STILL IN PROGRESS HERE. FYI only for those who are waking up.

Anyone pick up on any rumblings/chatter prior to today's attack?
Haven't had a chance to follow the thread lately. Not sure if our favorite pal "EOM" or anyone like that was spouting off recently or not..
Of course, I'm one who always thought the whole EOM thing was some kid playing around anyway.
I heard a small snippet of news this morning re: a warning to Israel before this happeneed??
I also heard that Benjamin Netanyahu is in London attending an economic meeting there.
Someone on Fox also mentioned this morning that our Homeland Security is stepping up their watch on our transportation hubs.
No. No stock tips yet either, yet the last couple weeks have been down.
Reporting now that the bus explosion appears to have been a suicide bomber. Explosive substances found so far at two sites.
I would warn anyone here in this country who takes the subway, train or bus to be on guard for any suspicious persons.
OPINION: It's been busy and interesting, but I have seen nothing pointing specifically to London. (It should be noted for lurkers, that I am not an Arabic speaker.)
09+11+01=21 not 19
True, but there were 19 hijackers.
Prayers for those in London.
