Thank God, we're safe from the ten commandments in school, or some really bad things might happen.

Not to mention corporal punishment.

The 10 commandments wouldn't have stopped that kid. He's a little sociopath.

The parent(s) in charge or present should be prosecuted.

Welcome to family life in the US.... Yeah! for our culture of death. Kill anything that annoys you. My wife and I were talking about God (we are Hindu-Jew), and it just so happened "Friends" was on TV. We both remarked, how with all the troubles the characters on Friends have had in terms of career, family, relationships, etc., not ONCE has any character fallen to their knees and asked for help from God. Striking and scary.

It wouldn't surprise me if the kid has been exposed to numerous R rated movies and video games that promote violence. Sad.

Sounds like he had some real anger issues relating to his parents' divorce that were never addressed. Folks think that kids are so resilient, that they can 'get over' a divorce easily, then accept it when a new baby comes along. The kid suspects he's lost his father's love, and now that's reinforced by the presence of the new baby and the father is so happy about the baby that the boy thinks his father will never love him again. So he does the only thing he knows to do, remove the rival for his father's affections.
Stupid, stupid, stupid adults!

There is pure evil in this world and this kid personifies it completely.
At 7 I don't know what kind of charges can be filed and where this kid can be sent. You can bet if he is sent to a juvenile center he will be even more dangerous when he gets out so what is the answer????

1.The boy is 'visiting his father' who lives with his shackup girlfriend.
2.The adults were outside with neighbors (probably partying) at midnight. Why isn't the kid in bed asleep at midnight?
3.No supervision with a seven year old and a baby and a piece of wood just lying around????
4. These idiots named their baby Jayza.
I'm sorry the parents should go to jail for this.

The wonderful 60's huh?
The pill, free love, the sexual revolution, the end of shame, Godless classrooms, and the foundation set for abortion on demand and defining deviency down. The beginning of diversity, multi-culturalism and politically correct speech and thought.
A wonderful legacy for a pathetic and self-serving generation.

The unidentified boy was not taken into custody and is living with his mother in Lakeland while prosecutors make their decision......
I don't think I would sleep too well with this child in the next room.
