The Billy Graham portions of the Nixon tapes seem also to indicate that Nixon had problems with Jews, perhaps even was anti-semitic.

Perhaps that wasn't the reason Felts, a Jew, ratted out Nixon, but it does have a low level, Mordecai/Esther feel about it.

Felt isn't a Jew. Nixon wrongly believed that he was.

Nixon was guilty of crude anti-semitic remarks, among many other things.

He also appointed more Jews to top offices than any previous President.

Much more importantly, he very literally saved Israel from annihilation during the early days of Yom Kippur War. At the time, most Dems would have let Israel go. George McGovern had campaigned very explicitly on a no help to Israel platform.

Nixon has never got the credit he deserves for this.

Well now, his decision to raise the nation's defense levels to Defcon 3 when the Russians looked like they were going to intervene in the Yom Kippur war(because Israel had beaten back its attackers and would have been rolling into Syrian and Egypt proper) tells me more about Nixon's character than just a few words on a tape. Then again perhaps Israel shouldn't have been restrained by furious back room negotiations by Kissinger et al, judging from what has happened in the middle east of late!

Problems with Jews?
Hell I have issues with Jews. But I have issues with nearly every group of people.
I mean do you want a group of french or puerto Ricans living next door?
I don't care to have hasidic Jews next door either. All the drinking and partying. Fast cars and minimully clad females they seem to always have hanging around,
