The court ruled that protesters had the right to free speech. So, we provided some free speech of our own, by the name of Operation Simply Shred. Looks like the peace pamphlets ended up in ...., well...., pieces. A piece here, a piece there... Peace!

Every American should be out shredding all of the tripe these socialist hippies are handing out.

It's interesting how "peace" protestors crawl underneath the apron of the proverbial "mommy & daddy" for their ability to express their rights of free speech. But as we all know, if the tables were turned and they were the ones gathering en masse, then "peace" would be the furthest thing from their minds regarding anyone with a dissenting viewpoint and a desire to express it.
Irony and hypocrisy defined.

Thanks again to the Columbia folk for being there and doing a great job.
I just love the whole "Shredder" concept. Good reply to peacenik too. They can't believe that people don't agree with them. They are just SO judgemental.

Just for clarification....I'm in Alaska, and wasn't at the Air Show and Memorial Day Parade in Columbia, Missouri, but posted this for a friend whose computer is not behaving very well. But I must say Operation Simply Shread was certainly a great idea. My hat's off to the Columbia FReepers.

Eco-friendly and recyclable, and a practice even PETA could adopt.
