Brads will shrug off .50 or .51 (Russian) fire. You might take some of the stuff mounted on the hull off, but the vehicle itself will be uninpaired.

The M113 isn't even proof against 7.62 NATO in the configuration they showed.

That said, there IS no heavier armored personnel carrier in the US Army inventory than the Bradley. The only thing heavier is main battle tanks, and I don't recall seeing any M60s or M1s at the Waco standoff, do you?

I wasn't a tanker, but I worked around them. The lead vehicle appears to be a M60 variant. IIRC, the one on film at Waco had a boom as it started to bash the walls of the burning compound. My guess is that it was an engineer variant or armored recovery vehicle. The first two tracked armored vehicles appear to have pronounced turrets from the rear in this picture.

Good morning.

What were the engineers vehicles used to poke holes in the walls and inject the CS based on, M-48s or M-60s?

I've not read anything that proves that the Davidians used their Barrett.

They had the M-60 engineering vehicles there... Those were what they used to "inject" the CS, and then demolish the "compound."
