Eternal Warming, what a wonderful gift of that loving visit with your Norman. You are richly blessed.
On the practical end, you might want to talk with a social worker from the home where your husband was about the extraordinary medical bills. There are programs available to help people that you should take advantage of, as hard as that may be to accept. You have quite enough to deal with in your loss.

I am so sorry to hear that your Norman died, but I am so glad that he was able to really be conscious and present with you even briefly, and tell you those beautiful last words.
Please let us know if there is any way we can help, even if it's just with advice and contacts. Financial problems are horrible, but they're never insoluble. And God loves you and is with you.
