I didn't understand that you were suggesting floating their names for the position.

They'd certainly prefer Bolton to either one of those two guys, although they'd fear Rumsfeld the most, I think.

My guess is that it probably won't be necessary and Bolton will be approved in the next two weeks.

While we're busy here eating our own over the McCain agreement, we should at least realize that the Democrats wouldn't have agreed to it if they thought their filibuster tactics were going to be a winning strategy.

Sure, but I can be a b!tch & at this point I want it to hurt. Mr. Rock, meet Mr. Hardplace. I want to see gnashing of the teeth by their faithful as they fold up their tents. I wanna see the MSM go off the deep end again, though that would just be icing on the cake.

It could be someone unknown to the general population, but well known within party circles. All that would matter would be that they'd believe the rumor & throw an absolute fit about it. GOP could ask them where they got the idea that it was ever going to be anyone but Bolton.
