All politics is local and people have to realize that not every State is going to elect Conservatives. We have to take small steps in those states and bashing our elected officials and calling them RINOs is dumb IMHO because not all Republicans are conservative which doesn't seem to get through to some people on here.

I love what you said. That's so true.
Another thing is that the GOP doesn't agree on every issue. I know I don't want to expel every GOPer who doesn't agree 100% - something like an 85% Conservative rating is the best we can get from some states. That's better than a Liberal 100% rating, for sure.

When you look at ACU ratings, you will usually see that our lowest Republican is higher then any of the RATs except in rare cases like Ralph Hall in the House from TX who now is a Republican. Some people don't want to acknowledge that we have many voices in the party that don't always agree on everything. I happen to be fortunate to live in Oklahoma where I agree with my Senators close to 100% of the time -- think one time since I moved here I have disagreed with a vote and don't even remember what it was.

Also know not all states are like mine -- lived in MA for nine, miserable months. Only Conservatives I met were Republicans that were stationed at Fort Devins and lived in Groton -- we used to complain to each other and kept our voter registrations in the State we came from. Never had met people so liberal in my life.

That's a point that totally eludes some 'TRUE' conservatives around here.

That even a Voinovich votes with the conservatives 80% of the time, and is far better than a Dem who never does.

When people say they'd just as soon have Glenn and Metzenbaum as Voinovich and DeWine, I want to spit nails.

How stupid can some people be to want all or nothing?? It makes no sense.
