Bolton fails to get the 60 votes to invoke cloture. Dem filbuster is on.
There was a guy at post #45 said this is going to make him vote for Hillary -- Fishtalk!
How many Conservatives do you know that would vote for Hillary over anyone? It think the DU crowd are outing themselves trying to stir up trouble. We must be a real pain in the neck to their plans.
I don't know that I've ever given money to one of the Party organs. I don't think the RNC as exists to advance conservative values in government. Rather it exists to perpetuate Republican power through fundraising. There is a real difference there, as we are seeing this week.
I have been to a lot of conventions though, at every level. I'll keep doing that, but it doesn't stop me from being very afraid that the Republicdan Party, longterm, is inherently unstable, with a flotilla of very conservative often Christian voters that the Washington leadership isn't very comfortable with.
You:A watershed event--the 2004 election--was won by Bush and the Republican'ts GAINED seats in the Senate. Still, the Republican'ts SURRENDERED to the RATs. This is no time for conservatives to "rally round the party". Forget the damn party. This is the time to show maximum outrage to the spinless cowards to the point they reverse course and stop having sex wit
Me: Unaware of the RINO's in our midst, DTOM888 thought 2004 was a watershed event. BTW, who do you think elects these RINO's election after election? Is it; A.) Frist or is it B.)John Q. Public?
I read your post. It wasn't that earth shattering. The problem is you don't understand that we have roughly 45 good Republicans and about 10 bad Republicans in the senate. Your posts on this thread permeate with that lack of understanding. I could easily document that.
My question to you still remains unanswered. I'll repeat it since you tried to avoid it;
Who do you think elects these RINO's election after election? Is it; A.) Frist or is it B.)John Q. Public?
None (I'd find somebody to write in before I voted for Hitlery).
Too funny.
A Confederacy of Dunces....but they are all still alive.
Obviously Frist doesn't have the votes.
This guy has got to know he's ruined his chance to ever become president. He's out - definitely. The only people that have any respect for him are the U.S.S.A. Socialist.
Did I say I was proud of them? No. Did I say they all represent me? No.
You have drawn a silly conclusion from some silly suppositions.
When you start making sense, give me a ring......
Bwahahahahahahahaha. Republican A-Holes! Thank you, McLame who was on I'manass this morning stating that this was the right thing to do.
Right, who needs the constitution anyway?
Vote them out. Warner will not get my vote again. Of course the military folks in Norfolk will bow to his pleas for votes.
Some people never learn.
McLame said that "he is a good man" on I'nanass this morning. I guess he is. La-la-la.
Toilet paper has more meaning than the Constitution. Welcome to the socialist republic.
Any one of you who votes for Frist, McLame and that A-Hole from the Carolina's is an idiot.
The lib's in Northern VA. and NN will try to reelect Warner. I only wish Ollie could have gotten more support.
Exactly! I am just now answering my pings -- was really irritated and when I read someone said they were voting for Hitlery now, I knew there is no way they could be conservative or Republican.
I wouldn't vote for that woman for dog catcher. She is pro-abortion to start with so that should throw out the vast majority of the conservative vote and a few more with her anti-gun stance not to mention her anti-changing social security and anti-tax cuts, and hillarycare to name a few.
They are middle of the road and have no spine.
If they weren't so pathetic, they'd make me laugh......
Do you ever feel like you are talking to the wind sometimes? :) Lack of reading comprehension is astounding on here recently.
Do you really believe that McLame cares what you think?
Ditto's
Oh no, Ursus honey..........it's a FACT that Frist is more decent than you. You proved it BIG time right here on this thread.
LOL!!! It is like Lemmings have attacked FR -- all marching together and saying the same thing! :)
Sure Republicans have used the filibuster before.
What we have here a 3 seperate issues
Filibusters for legislation - happens all the time
Filibusters for presidential appointments - I hear this is also well precedented
Filibusters for judicial appointments - there was one in all of American history before 2001.
