the Democrats are incharge now.....

A watershed event--the 2004 election--was won by Bush and the Republican'ts GAINED seats in the Senate. The people spoke.

Still, the Republican'ts SURRENDERED to the RATs.

This is no time for conservatives to "rally round the party". Forget the damn party.

This is the time to show maximum outrage to the spinless cowards to the point they reverse course and stop having sex with the RATs.

"Being patient and smart is NOT being weak.

Some of these macho men around here can't quite discern the difference."

I have been "mentally" active in politics for about 30 years. I have been waiting for the republicans to grow 'nads all that time.

I, for one, am getting friggin sick of it!

"I was and am a Conservative probably before you could spell it"
You're not now though, and I am. You support big government republicans, again, men who look like leftists compared to our great founding fathers.

"You people who blame Bush because the dems are trying to
shaft him is like blaming the Jews because the Nazis where
shafting them. "

Who ever said I was blaming bush for the Bolton situtation or the fillibuster situation? I know what these putrid democommies are doing. You're putting words in my mouth now. I'm blaming this idiot Bush for giving 50 million to murderous terrorist scum. The democraps didnt make him do that....unless you really are that delusional.

"You people who didn't want 80% and voted for Perot or
other third party wackos gave us Carter and Clinton."

You seem to have some intellectual deficits, for that I am sorry for you. As I stated in my initial reply to you, my first election ever at the age of 19, I voted for Dole. My entire family voted for dole and before that, they voted for Reagan twice. My mom and dad voted for Nixon too. We've listened to Rush Limbaugh since 1988.

We hated perot, always knew he was a phony. Never have voted third party....

How about instead of screwing the entire Republican Party (the only party other than the Democrats that has any chance of winning national elections) you focus on getting rid of people like McLame, DeWine, Graham, etc.</p>

The pubbie's are the modern day surrender monkeys.

Bolton is easy, compared to Clarence Thomas a few years ago.

What a bunch of whimps.

As long as Senator McCain continues to get air time, no harm has come to the Republic. Walk a mile in his shoes.

I make a point that you do not seem to have an answer for, other than your attempt to flame.

I told the other member that if one feels the Republican'ts represent them, then the party of surrender, the party of defeat, the party without fight, the party of abdication, the party of spinless cowards represent you.

I just feel the Republican'ts no longer represent me since I do not share those "traits".

You all will come around eventually, but by then it may be too late. Viewing both parties as tools of global MNCs and banks explains all sorts of strange political results, like defying the will of 3/4 of American to get control of borders. It explains why the Law of the Sea Treaty and other dangerous treaties are not dead on arrival in a Republican Congress. It explains why environmental laws cannot be reformed; Weyerhaueser was the biggest factor stopping ESA reform in 1994. But you'll have to look beyond the newspapers to see the truth.

I agree with you fully on the republicans in DC. As a party they have been completely spineless. I disassociated myself from the GOP after the "deal" was made. In my opinion, Frist kept delaying so that he allowed time for a deal.

I think he did it purely for political gain, as he wants to have an issue against McCain in the presidential primaries. I will not give one single penny to the GOP, but might give to individual members of the party. That will be difficult because I think that they chickened out.

Any of the GOP senators who claimed to be for the rule change could have easily been on TV pounding this issue in the mind of the American people, and my biggest issue is that the Chairman of the RNC didn't assure the conservative voters that the party was behind the rule change.

I can't give to a party that supports any RINO. If they decide to at least make a real effort to change the Senate rule concerning the up or down votes on the judges, I'll be back.

After saying that, I think you'd do yourself a lot of good not being so offensive to people on this forum who want the same thing you and I want. There's a lot of blame to go around, but everyone here has a right to stay with the GOP and fix it, or leave like I did.

Because under the rules that requires 3/5 of the membership it doesn't matter if he makes them talk or lets them go home and watch American Idol....Frist can't muster 60 votes if there's four or forty democrats in the chamber. The rule insures obstruction as long as 41 stick together, regardless of how many votes are called, and unanamous consent isn't given.

The Senate rules were changed essentially eliminating the "real" filibuster.
