You could tell the last guy was lying through his teeth....Starts out with being a Republican, can't stand the deal anymore, going over to the Democrat side, and finally throws in the "I'm a veteran" shot.

Pleeeeeeeeezzzzzzzzzz.

Feingold is scared. He just said he was worried that "Frist will not abide by the agreement" and deploy the Nuke.

Well, Duh, Feingold. Frist is not the a party to the agreement...

"Didn't someone say Saad is Arab-American?"

I bet it's Lebanese. I used to attend church with a Lebanese man with that surname.

Since he left Mary Jo in the water, there's no evidence he can swim.

SHHH, if the RATs can't remember history, why help them?

Frist just qualified use of nuke option as conditional on being extraoridinary.

Yeah. Because the crapweasel 14 conditioned refusing to vote - the condition being that the nominee is "extraordinary."

Is Frist saying that sometimes refusing to vote is ordinary, and sometimes refusing to vote is extraordinary? I don't think so.

"Do you mean Alan Cranston? Rush used to call him "the Cadaver.""

Yes. I have a friend who use to call up the UC Medical School morgue and tell them that one of their corpses was masquerading as Senator Cranston, everytime the Cadaver appeared on TV.

A better indication of the final vote on Owen is the cloture vote in the last Congress. The non-moonbat 'Rats vote to invoke cloture yesterday to show their support for McCain's treachery and let the vote take place. However, having filibustered Owen in the past, they would look very stupid voting yes on her now.

Owen will lose all of those who voted against cloture in the last Congress (minus those no longer here, like Lil' Tommy), and she might lose a couple who did vote to invoke cloture last Congress. I figure she'll get around 55-58 votes.

This comment slipped by quickly. Frist did in fact say that the use of the nuke option is only going to be used in unless the filbuster is extraordinary. This is a retreat from the prior statements that ALL nominees should get an up or down vote.

No, it's not. He's tying its use to the use of the filibuster in extraordinary cases.
