Good morning all. Senate convenes at 9:30 am this morning, to vote on the nomination of Priscilla Owen. I've started the thread early, as I have to leave for a few hours, but also to give us a place to start commenting early on the events of yesterday....

He may save himself in Ohio though! He may be trying to re-win his seat. Ohio is only marginally Red!
Ohio is pretty solid red. Two big cities are blue. One of them being Kucinich town. Ohio's US Senators and Governor are almost blue. This will all change by 2010.
I am getting really red in the face listening to MY SENATOR going on and on about this. Oh gosh, he raised a finger and got upset. How many times in the last week have we seen our SENATORS lose it on the floor of the God Almighty glorious Senate? All of this because some whiny liberal couldn't take being punished. Probably some spoiled brat that never had to do any real work in his life and then he got yelled at.
VoinoVichy is losing his temper talking about someone who supposedly lost his temper.
He will not be voted back to the Senate in '10. I just wish we could recall him now so that we don't have to deal with 6 more years of his backstabbing.
