Senator Frist said that the constitutional option is still on the table---wants to get the votes for the 3 judges done this week and Bolton...

Reid got up immediately after FRist and said THE NUKE OPTION IS DEAD FOREVER....and that they need to do other things instead of judicial nominees...

BTW, first thing this morning, Reid tryed to get Frist to cancel the cloture vote and just vote on Owen, and Frist said NO there will be a cloture vote..

McCain accomplished nothing, except to make things nastier!!!!

How can the "nuclear option" be dead? They did'nt change the Senate rules did they? The compromise did not eliminate the nuke.
Let's waste more time and tax dollars...

Pat Buchanan was on Imus this AM and said Frist should go ahead with all the nominees and make McCain et. al. vote with the Democrats. Lately, I rarely agree with Pat, but on this I thought he was dead on. Welp lookie here, Frist is going to do just that. Senator McCain, looks like you are going to have to go on the record and vote with the Dems on this. Buh bye Presidential ambitions.

" McCain accomplished nothing " ... oh yes he did... not only did her tick off many Americans... but ? he basically ended his political career as a ( so called Republican ) until his term is over, then ? he'll change party affiliation, and join the Democrats and will be Hitlery's VP choice in 2008.
Can someone come up with a picture comparison of John Benedict Arnold McCain and of Howard Meanie Deanie.... doesn't both of them look like brothers that were separated at birth ?

Does this mean I am going to have to apologize for all the things I said about Frist yesterday? I guess I owe him one from the sound of it. I hope he continues to stand his ground and take the RINOS and the Dems to task. Go Frist.

Most politicians don't realize that things are different now with the Internet (ie FR, bloggers), talk radio, and FNC.

They will learn the hard way, I'm afraid.
