FReepers be prepared for surprises today.

How could I have missed Boxer? I heard Reid, Frist, Reid and now Sessions.
I'm moving to Alabama...with a banjo on my knee.
We're proud of Sessions in L.A. (Lower Alabama).
That's what Fox is reporting. Grassley was on earlier....and none too pleased that 14 senators decided that they would define how the rest of the senate would vote and when. I wonder if the 7 dwarfs are in hiding?
Heheheh. I haven't looked that far ahead, not in any knd of detail. The running of days does not stand in the way of making a serious run at fixing this dysfucntion of the Senate, wehre it refuses to voice its opinion of a presidential nominee.
When? I did'nt see Boxer. Can evil ones bilocate?
See reply 110...
The last I saw, Lisa Murkowski was in the chair.
Unanimous consent to schedule trumps the rules - ALWAYS.
Well he probably looked her in the eye, surprised he didn't turn to stone! I don't blames Sessions, I can't listen to her either!
You didn't miss Babs.
That was last night.
Senate Republicans might have killed 2 birds with one stone here: The Rat Birds and the RINO Birds. In Texas, we call this "calf rope".
There goes the health care system, the village idiot will be raising your kids or grandkids, you won't be able to say or print anything about it, and your guns will be melted down into pacifiers.
Look at his DU poll they want to throw Reid under the bus...oh please do it..Boxer for minority leader..hehe

Poll question: Who would be best to replace Reid.?
Now that Reid has sold out his own state and many others by giving us bigots and anti-employee nutcases and pollution-lovers for life, the question is who is the best choice to replace him if we can convince him to do the right thing and step down. Harkin and Boxer are tied for the two highest voting scores this year. http://patrickhenrythinktank.org/sen-scores.html
Poll result (18 votes)
Harkin (6 votes, 33%) Vote
Boxer (12 votes, 67%) Vote
Does this mean I am going to have to apologize for all the things I said about Frist yesterday? I guess I owe him one from the sound of it. I hope he continues to stand his ground and take the RINOS and the Dems to task. Go Frist.
Thanks for clearing that up :-)
I thought I'd had a brain freeze or something.
Last night! Not today yet!
Absolutely, hold feet to the fire. There simply is no room for compromise on this issue. The Dem base doesn't want ONE of these nominees through. The Republican base demands an up or down vote. To compromise on this issue is political suicide (more so for a Dem than a Rhino). I have no doubt that the Republican gang of seven think they have accomplished something and that a meaningful compromise was reached. But, the Dems simply can't afford to let ONE of these judges come up for a vote. I think there intent was to get something they could call a compromise and then stall stall stall. Well, the bluff is going to be called immediately and not sometime in the future. If the Dems go back on this right away, they will look absolutely foolish (as will the gang of seven Republicans) and the deal is deader than Elvis.
