The democrat position for 40 years: better to complain about a problem, keep it as a campaign issue than to eradicate it. Most politicians do that. Toss the hot potato around. Don't make a decision, etc. Set up Bureaus that make regulations so the Senate doesn't have to make laws - then they can blame the bureaucrats. Great work if you can get it. It's pretty common group behavior too.

With the advent of alternative media, Free Republic, Rush, etc., it's a new day and the slow, deliberative body may find itself run over by the communication age and the Internet.
The American people work at the speed of light; our government representatives best catch up.
