"Rush has looked at this 1,000 ways and doesn't see an upside"

I'm glad Rush is going to continue applying pressure to the GOP's squish middle, but this statement makes no sense whatsoever.

We are about to tip the balance of power in the appellate judiciary in our favor for the first time in decades. That's plenty of upside, as far as I'm concerned.

Why would a Myers or Bolton cloture violate the MOU? Bolton isn't up for judge so that's outisde the agreement. RATs declare Myers extreme and they are in compliance with MOU.

They can still debate for 30 hours more.

Thanks, I didn't know that. Is that standard, once cloture is invoked?

This one's over folks. Cloture will succeed big time!

If cloture passes then no opportunity for nuclear option.

It's the “extraordinary circumstances,” especially when Boxer referred to the current nominees as such last night.

Feingold votes no--Hillary votes yea

The 30 hours can be waived.

Sheets Byrd was a party to the cave.

What's surprising is that Hitlery voted to end cloture. Guess Reid is on his way out as Senate "Minority" Leader.

HRC votes aye

Reed of RI no and Feingold no are the only nays I've caught so far, all other dems realize they lost this one.

Ha! Before I hit "send" Jumpin' Jim votes "no".

Rush has been wrong before. All this does is guarantee Owen, Brown & Pryor a vote--the others will proceed as before.

So far only Jeffords & Chafee voted 'no'.

It wouldn't surprise me if the Rats renege.

"Boy Howdy" is just a clean expletive used frequently in Texas. You wouldn't understand.

Why are people like Sheets, voting yea?

To show comity, which someone forgot to tell Jeffords who voted nay. It's a facade; a total waste of time but that's what we've grown to expect.
