They can't say future nominees are extremists because they let these three up for a vote. It's a good point.

Noon today.
I love hearing Reid say, "The nuclear option is over, it's off the table."
The man is soooooo beaten!

Yep. I also did some searching when my friend asked on another thread how many RINOS were pro-choice. You don't want to know the answer. Just a consideration. We know the special interests that don't want these judges elected.

Funny how so many folks think the spanker controls the timing of the spanking
Reid says nuclear option is gone -- no it's not. Frist just said it isn't.
Ooooh - things are still a bit warm there.
Reid says there will still be filibusters.
Then the spanker goes into action
If the DEMs vote, then there is no spanking
Reid is surprized by Frist's stance
The MOU did not, and could not dispose of the underlying issue

Frist is not taking the deal? I am confused again! He said all of them will get voted on! LOL. This is great. Of course Frist is not "taking the deal." "The deal" has to play out on the floor of the Senate, in the form of votes. And hre we are. The DEMs can vote, or they can trigger the nuclear option. Their call. "Behave, or we'll spank you."
Vote or nuclear option. Their call.

Session not letting up good for him
To: defconw
Senator Frist said that the constitutional option is still on the table---wants to get the votes for the 3 judges done this week and Bolton...
Reid got up immediately after FRist and said THE NUKE OPTION IS DEAD FOREVER....and that they need to do other things instead of judicial nominees...
BTW, first thing this morning, Reid tryed to get Frist to cancel the cloture vote and just vote on Owen, and Frist said NO there will be a cloture vote..
McCain accomplished nothing, except to make things nastier!!!!
