Wrong. He was an AMERICAN CITIZEN, no matter WHERE he was born.

Nice huh?

Look, I've been following this and I am telling you your explanations are wrong.

Please stop "explaining" it to me as if you know something I don't know.

" I'll support REAL conservatives individually but not a dime to the RNC because I refuse to let my money go to the seven. "

A reasonable position

I think Rush meant the weasels agreed to a year and a half, but Frist is not part of this agreement.

It doesn't matter if Frist is part of the agreement or not. If those signing the agreement uphold it, there is no nuclear option until after the next Congressional election, that is to say, not until January of 2007. (assuming no rat no party to the agreement defects to support the Constitutional option. Asking a 'Rat to support the Constitution is asking a lot).

the agreement pledges the signatories, which includes Graham, to oppose any rule change for the rest of the 106th Congress,

You are categorically wrong. The agreement is predicated on the "spirit" of the agreement. This is also in the eyes of the beholder. Further, Lindsey and Dewhine have both said they would go nuclear if the rats chose filibuster.

* McCaine-Feingold anyone? 'Nough said! *

Great point! That stinking thing gave people like the Billionare, George Soros, the ability to throw millions of dollars to support Kerry in the last election.

McCain never said a word about Soros/MoveOn's ability to spend dollars against Bush. Then the SwiftVets use the same law against Kerry and out comes McCain to bash the Swift Boat Vets. McCain really made me mad when he bashed all those Vets.

Which bill passed? As I understand it there are two bills. I can agree with the one that allows funding for the use of umbilical cord blood cells, the bill that wants to use the embryos I am totally against.

Bush really doesn't speak out against opponets. Maybe it's better that way. He uses the Stealth method.

Sorry I did not read the whole post. Good for Pence and Weldon. Good men both.

You are confusing the two.

G.W.'s obligations as President and defacto head of the GOP and certainly the type of response people may wish publically on the issue are open for debate and question.

I am not speaking to that issue. I am speaking to Payback. Payback is separated from his duties to support these nominees, his duties as head of the GOP, and duties as President.

McCain made this personal, and off camera, as a man not as President or the GOP head, G.W. will get payback.

I read an article on a new thread about this, and it says that there are already 60 senators that will vote FOR the bill...cloture amount....

Therefore, it is up to Bush to veto it...I have payed attention to this because of research for juvenile diabetes, and there is a lot more SUCCESS with adult stem cells, and umbylical stem cells...there is no reason for this..and I can tell you right now, there would be a black market for embryos before the ink would dry on the bill...

The people for it say they will put in the bill that no one is ALLOWED "make" an embryo primarily for research, how will they know???? Bah, there will be women willing to do this to make money...

* Mike Pence and the Rep. Weldon of Florida got a bill passed that uses umbilical cord blood for research that is separate....they are sure that Bush will sign theirs... *

That's good news. Umbilical cords are supposed to be as good or even better than embryos (sp).
